The Secret of Success
Persistence begins with desire. You must deeply want something—so much that it becomes a passion. When you’re in love with your dream, persistence turns into a natural habit.
Few people truly commit to a goal with the mindset of giving their all, and that’s why persistence is rare. But when desire fuels you and your imagination shapes the dream, persistence follows.
For example, I once trained endlessly to win a world title. I lost at first, but didn’t quit—next time, in Verona, I won. Another example: in 1953, Hillary and Norgay became the first to climb Mt. Everest after years of failure.
Persistence makes success possible.
