CITY EXCLUSIVITY
ONE CITY.
ONE ACCREDITED CENTRE.
A key part of the OMC Accredited Centre of Excellence model is city
exclusivity.
To protect the value of the accreditation, OMC may approve only one centre
in a city. This gives the approved academy a clear point of distinction and
protects the strength of the OMC association in that market.
City exclusivity is granted only after approval and remains in force only
while the centre maintains its standards, complies with OMC requirements,
and renews its accreditation annually.

APPLICATION PROCESS
HOW ACCREDITATION WORKS
A structured process designed to identify academies that meet the standard expected of an OMC Accredited Centre of Excellence.

INITIAL ENQUIRY
The academy submits an enquiry and requests the accreditation pack to begin the process.

PRELIMINARY REVIEW
OMC reviews the application to determine whether the academy is a suitable candidate for accreditation.

APPROVAL DECISION
Final approval is granted at the discretion of OMC. Each application is assessed on its merits and against the OMC standard.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION
The academy provides a description of the school, a summary of the curriculum and educational activities, and photographs of the academy and its facilities.

IN-PERSON INSPECTION
Shortlisted academies proceed to an in-person inspection and review – important to ensure that the academy, its facilities, and its standards are consistent with the level expected of an OMC Accredited Centre of Excellence.

ACCREDITATION AND LAUNCH
Once approved, the academy completes the accreditation agreement, receives its official materials, and may begin presenting itself as an OMC Accredited Centre of Excellence.
