TERMS & CONDITIONS: PARTICIPANT & MODEL RELEASE
OMC International Championships – 2026
1. Acknowledgment of Terms
By participating, competing, modeling, or otherwise engaging in any capacity at the OMC International Championships organized by OMC HAIRWORLD INC. (headquartered at 111 Cherry Valley Avenue, Suite 323, Garden City, New York 11530, USA), the Competitor and/or Model expressly acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the following official Terms and Conditions.
2. Media & Likeness Release
The Competitor/Model grants OMC, OMC HAIRWORLD INC., and its official event organizers the irrevocable, worldwide, and royalty-free right to photograph, film, record, and capture their artistic work, performance, image, name, voice, likeness, and appearance during the event. OMC is fully authorized to reproduce, publish, display, adapt, distribute, and use these materials for official purposes, including but not limited to promotion, education, documentation, advertising, press, social media, digital archives, streaming platforms, television, and the official OMC HAIRWORLD website. This authorization applies to any format, media, or platform, whether currently existing or developed in the future, and is granted in perpetuity.
3. Right to Credit
The Competitor/Model agrees that OMC and OMC HAIRWORLD INC. reserve the right, but carry no legal obligation, to identify or credit the Competitor and/or Model in connection with any publication, representation, adaptation, or other use of their competition work or likeness.
4. Competition Compliance & Judging
The Competitor/Model acknowledges that all official OMC competition rules, category requirements, inspiration guidelines, timing instructions, and event protocols must be strictly followed. All decisions, scoring, and rulings made by the official OMC jurors are absolute, final, and cannot be contested or appealed.
5. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection
The names, logos, trademarks, titles, images, awards, diplomas, and official branding of OMC and OMC HAIRWORLD are legally protected intellectual property. They may not be used under any circumstances without prior written authorization. Competitors, models, educators, trainers, jurors, affiliates, and related parties are strictly prohibited from using OMC or OMC HAIRWORLD branding in connection with non-OMC sanctioned events, independent educational programs, masterclasses, seminars, competitions, advertising, or promotional activities.
6. Consequences of Misuse
Any unauthorized use, misuse, alteration, imitation, or misrepresentation of the OMC or OMC HAIRWORLD name, logo, brand, trademarks, titles, diplomas, images, or official materials will result in the immediate termination of the offending party’s membership, affiliation, titles, awards, and participation rights. Such termination shall not limit or waive the right of OMC and OMC HAIRWORLD INC. to pursue monetary damages, legal remedies, or equitable relief for trademark infringement or unauthorized use.
7. Indemnification
The Competitor/Model agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OMC, OMC HAIRWORLD INC., their officers, directors, representatives, agents, partners, sponsors, and official event organizers from and against any claims, disputes, actions, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from the use, publication, reproduction, or distribution of the competitor’s work or model’s likeness in accordance with this release.
8. FINAL DISCLAIMER & ACCEPTANCE
By registering for, attending, or participating in the OMC International Championship, the Competitor/Model legally affirms that they have carefully read, fully understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms & Conditions and the Participant & Model Release in their entirety.
